Grosseto, 12 May 2021_The Tuscan Maremma Wines Protection Consortium will not miss the appointment with PrimAnteprima, the regional collective preview scheduled for 14 May always at the Fortezza da Basso (Pavilion of the Nations) which coincides with the inauguration of the Week of Previews of Tuscany 2021 (May 14-21).

Despite the exceptional situation, the Protection Consortia and the Tuscany Region have worked together to be able to guarantee, in total safety, the holding of the most important showcase of Tuscan wines, inevitably participation by journalists and sector operators will be limited, especially for those coming from foreign countries but the event will take place and the wines will be protagonists. “For the eighth consecutive year we wanted to confirm our presence because the Tuscan Previews are a fundamental moment for the promotion of our productions and, now more than ever, we need to move in this direction to raise the level of notoriety of our denomination”, he explains Francesco Mazzei President of the Consorzio Tutela Vini della Maremma Toscana and adds “The pandemic has also affected the organization of this event but we could not not be there, indeed we will even be present with 66 wines from 41 companies that well tell the variety of the wine proposal of the area which is one of our strengths; ours is a decisive presence, both to give a signal of optimism and recovery to our producers, and to give them the opportunity to present the new vintages placed on the market, and to continue monitoring demand “. For the Consortium, this is another fundamental element that fits into the enhancement and communication strategy of the Maremma Toscana brand in Italy and abroad.
