Grosseto, March 2022_ The third edition of “mareMMMa, the Nature of wine”, a unique event with the largest selection of Maremma wines, is scheduled for April 4 in the central hall of the Granaio Lorenese di Spergolaia in Alberese in the province of Grosseto .

After the success of the first two editions, the Maremma Toscana, Montecucco and Morellino di Scansano appellations will tell professionals in the sector with more than three hundred labels from around eighty companies. The respective Protection Consortia have worked in synergy to organize this appointment dedicated to operators who will have the opportunity to taste all the types of wines of the Denominations where Nature “is still the master” and which is characterized by very different territories and climates. which deeply affect the characteristics of the rich and varied range of wines on offer. Sommeliers, restaurateurs, distributors and wine merchants will have access – by invitation – to the great tasting of reds, whites and rosés, emblems of the best production in this area.

Today we have 68 members, most of which are represented by small or medium-sized family-run companies that over the years have been able to interpret the peculiar identity of our territory, always paying great attention to the issue of sustainability – linked to environmentally friendly practices, with 85% of the certified organic production – and respect for biodiversity, which still reigns supreme among vineyards, woods, arable land and olive trees. We are happy to finally return to MareMMMa, to convey the intrinsic values ​​that distinguish us to operators in the sector, especially local ones who should be our first supporters “.
